New TBM980 launched !
On January 15, 2026, the brand new TBM980 model had its world premiere. It directly follows up on the unique TBM960 model, but overcomes it with the newly installed Garmin G3000 Prime avionics. Three large-format touchscreen displays offer an intuitive working interface, improved ergonomics of control and a reduced pilot workload when using them.
In terms of flight characteristics and parameters, the TBM980 has retained all the strengths of the TBM960 and, thanks to design improvements, it comes with the concept of Prist-free operation for the first time. With the TBM980, it is no longer necessary to mix this additive into the fuel.
